and heres a pic of my gorgeous littlest boy who is growing up way too fast. I seem to be buying him new clothes every month. His little legs and arms just keep on extending. Hes leaping ahead in development so quickly. I enrolled him in kinder for 2009 (3yr old) and 2010 (4yr old ) and school in 2011. I wanted to make sure we got our favourite kinder (and the one thomas went to) for him. Places there are very rare unless you enrol now. At least now I dont have to think about it again for another year and half.

I really hate when I finally sit down to do a big update and I never get to finish it. Ah well such is life being a parent. What i was going to add yesterday that I bought this book of lovely little hats. It has such gorgeous baby hats to make and they are so easy. I have a list of around 5 I want to make at the moment. And this is the one I have been making. You will have to look it sideways because I can't work out how to rotate it.

Last night I went to my monthly SnB. I really enjoy going. Its not the yummy cake either but the lovely companship and having women that get my addiction lol.
I started the most gorgeous baby beanie while i was there. It is a rainbow coloured beanie with cool twirly things on the top. I am really enjoying making it and I love the way the colours are so vibrant and bright.

I am cooking yummy berry and chocolate muffins at the moment. I make 12 mini muffins for the kids and 12 normal sized ones for us. I can't wait to eat them. Gotta love Donna Hay recipes. They always work out perfectly and actually look like the picture.

I got parcels today!! I was so pleased to open them up and find a stack of gorgeous vintage cottons. They are so pretty and lovely. I just want to cut them up right now and use them for something. But I am not going to. I am going to plan and use every piece for something really special. Its not every day I come across such a great vintage fabric stash. I also went to the op shop and found a great retro geometric print fabric. What a day for fabric. Its weird but appealing fabric makes my day. I love to look at it and work out what I am going to do with it

I also found a pattern for retro fabric toys. I think part of the fabrics will get used in making a few of these toys. I might make some for the WAHMania shop depending on how they work out. And also this book written in 1973 about making childrens clothes. Theres some great stuff in there. Lol some really terrible stuff too but mainly funky stuff.

I had a lovely day this weekend at Funbugs to take part in Knit in Public day. I even had the pleasure of having no children as Oscar was fast asleep and Thomas was at Nanas house. I am in the middle of knitting Pete a basic garter stitch scarf. The wool is a Moda Vera one from spotlight and it has shades of brown and black through it. It looks great so hopefully he will be happy with it.

I have two bids on two of my things in wahmania!! Yay for that. After a really bad market experience where i only sold one selling something on wahmania renews my faith in my stuff. I am so excited! For wahmania I am working on some singlets and tops with funky appliques and some vintage fabric pants. I want to do lots more boys stuff too because I know how annoying it is when all the good stuff is for girls.
